Need a hand?We are here
Quick answers to the things people ask most, and a direct line to the people who make Yumpot.

Write to us
Something is broken, a recipe is wrong or you have an idea? Send a message to dwhytestudio@gmail.com. Tell us what you were doing and, if you can, add a screenshot and the model of your iPhone. We read every message.
Subscription
How do I cancel?
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions. Pick Yumpot and tap Cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
When am I charged after the free trial?
The first 3 days are free. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before they end, the plan you chose starts and your Apple ID is charged.
I paid, but the app still asks me to subscribe
On the subscription screen tap "Restore purchases". Check that the iPhone is signed in with the Apple ID you paid with and that it is online.
Can I get a refund?
Payments go through Apple, so refunds do too. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Menu and allergies
How do I change my allergies, diet or the days I cook?
Open the Kitchen tab. Every answer from the setup questions is listed there and can be changed. The next menu follows the new answers; dishes that no longer fit are taken out of the current one.
I do not like a dinner in my menu
Tap the swap button next to it on the Week tab and you get another one. If you never want to see a dish again, answer "Not again" when the app asks whether you would cook it again.
A recipe seems to contain something I am allergic to
Please tell us straight away at dwhytestudio@gmail.com, with the name of the dish. And always check the labels of the products you buy: Yumpot knows the ingredients of its recipes, not what a particular brand puts in the jar.
Cooking and the helper
The amounts in the steps do not match the number of people
The ingredient list and the shopping list are scaled to your household. The amounts written inside the steps are for two servings; the recipe screen shows the scaled amounts.
The helper gave a strange answer
The helper is an AI and sometimes gets things wrong. Trust the recipe and your own eyes, and send us the question and the answer so we can make it better.
The helper does not answer
It needs an internet connection. Check that you are online and ask again; the rest of the recipe works without it.
Your data
Where is my data?
On your phone. There is no account, so there is nothing to sign in to and nothing of yours stored with us. The details are in the privacy policy.
How do I delete everything?
Delete the app: its data goes with it. To start over without deleting, use "Redo the setup questions" at the bottom of the Kitchen tab.
Will my menu move to a new phone?
Your subscription follows your Apple ID: tap "Restore purchases" on the new phone. Menus and history live on the device, so they come along only if you move to the new iPhone from a backup.
